Welcome

You’re in the right place

If your child is finding reading, writing or spelling hard, you’re not alone, and it isn’t their fault. Some children miss vital early instruction. Others simply learn differently. Every one of them deserves teaching that meets them where they are.

My Pace Learning Academy offers specialist literacy intervention for individual children and small groups, supporting a wide range of differences, disabilities and challenges. We build skills step by step, at your child’s pace, so they can grow in confidence and experience real success.

Our approach

How we help your child thrive

We provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 literacy intervention: targeted, specialist support for children who need more than the classroom can give.

Systematic learning

Every session follows a carefully planned sequence, from simple to more complex. Game-based activities keep children engaged while building RAN, working memory, language, focus and attention.

Explicit instruction

New concepts are taught clearly through modelling and guided practice, with feedback straight away and plenty of practice until the skill is mastered.

Child focused

Every program is tailored to the individual. We stay connected with families, teachers and allied health professionals so everyone works towards the same goals.

Who we support

Support for every kind of learner

We work with children aged 4 to 12 who are falling behind in literacy, including children with:

What families and schools say

Five-star rating

Tracy has been working with my daughter for 2.5 years, and the progress has been incredible. When she started, dyslexia was making school a real struggle and she was failing English. Now she’s in Grade 4, passing English and improving across all subjects. More importantly, her confidence has grown so much.

It is encouraging to see that the areas you are targeting and supporting align closely with what we are seeing at school… Thank you again for your ongoing support, care and expertise.
